Simon Gledhill hails from Halifax, West Yorkshire, England.  Simon’s introduction to theatre organ was hearing Ernest Broadbendt play the Blackpool Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer.  After winning an organ competition in 1982, he began a series of radio performances on the BBC.  This radio series led to Simon’s playing major venues in Britain, Holland, Germany, Australia, and the U.S.  In 1997 he received the ATOS “Member of the Year Award.”  Simon has a full-time career in banking in London.  This will be his sixth concert at Dickinson.
